The Linda Kennedy School of Piano & Voice is loving the Rhythm Builder!! Students have so much fun competing in class to build their measures of rhythms first!! Then we play their rhythms on the piano!

This has been on my wish list for awhile and I am really happy with it! I bought all the time signatures options. I am looking forward to using it with students when we return from our holiday break. I plan to use it both during lessons and during music lab time. I know I will enjoy having both the visual and tactile components for students.

This board is wonderful showing students rhythms and showing easily how much space each note takes up in one measure. My students are loving it. Thank you for creating such a wonderful resource.

Loved using these as one of my stations when they are trying to put all of the pieces together of what is in a song! Things seemed to really click with these tools, highly recommend!

I have been using the old version of the rhythm tiles and this version is so much better! I love that students get to see rhythm time represented in relation to each other (like two eighth notes is the same size as one quarter, one eighth note is half the size of the quarter note tile, etc.). The tiles are easy to place and remove from the measures. Students have loved getting to create their own rhythms and then challenge each other to tap those rhythms with a steady beat. I ended up getting a small plastic container to store all the tiles in so they were easy to store by note or rest value. Thanks for creating high quality products!

I have a table with books and activities for students waiting for lessons to start. I added the rhythm builders and the students enjoyed it while practicing building rhythms.

My students and I have checked out all the rhythm combinations for the basic and advanced tiles. They LOVE them. They're well-made, and they accurately show the relationship between different note values. Thanks for a great product.

This is a great new addition to my studio to work on rhythms. High quality product and a fun way to play with rhythms.

The only addition/change I would make is to have a label on the outside of each of the bags so you know which time signature is in which one.

Beautiful products! I started using them immediately with my students most of whom are autistic and thrive with tangible visuals to help them cement more abstract ideas. They were very excited and the design allows them to have success without aversive verbal corrections.

These are both beautiful and brilliant. They are fun puzzles for the kids to figure out. It is nice for them to have a 3 dimensional puzzle to assemble as I feel that it makes timing more tangible.

I just purchased and have used this all week with each of my students adding it as part of my lesson plan. ALL of my students have loved it and have asked for 'just one more time'. For older students, it is a great review tool and younger students, it really shows the patterns and note values work. The absolute best tool I've seen recently.

Students and parents are calling it their favourite new music puzzle! It's a wonderful teaching tool, creative and tactile, and the cloth bags provides perfect storage for it.

Perfect in every way. Building pieces sized for children’s hands as well as offering clues for how patterns can fit into the tile cut-out spaces. The cloth storage bags were an unexpected bonus.

I am looking forward to playing with these more. Yes, I played with them. Adults need to play too. What I mean is thatnthe pieces fit beautifully and I think being able to manipulate the counts etc.

I used the Rhythm Builder this week for the first time with my students and it’s awesome! It’s a really sturdy, well made product. My you get students loved using it because it feels so much like a game and I already started to see improvements in how they were thinking about rhythm. Even my older students, who used the advanced tiles, loved it! I highly recommend this to music teachers who want a fun new tool to incorporate into lessons. I loved it so much that I just ordered more!

I used the rhythm builders yesterday for my end-of-semester music game day (station day!) and it was a hit! Students have never really liked the rhythm station I had before and they kept going back to it time after time once I used the rhythm builder manipulative! I also recommend the advanced tiles for the Let’s Play Music curriculum as they match perfectly with our bug rhythms.
